Activity: 2008 3rd AMCP Medical Forum (Special Medical Forum) on Alternative/Complementary Medicine was successfully held by AMCP on 04/13/2008. Drs. Changzheng Gong, Yubin Lu and Greg Plotnikoff gave presentations followed with lively discussions. Dr. Hong Chen could not attend the forum in person but gave a pre-recorded DVD presentation. There were more than 40 attendee including many AMCP members and volunteers as well as special guests including Ms. Ginny Jacobs, director of the U of MN CME program, Regent\'s professor emeritus of pediatrics Dr. Paul Quie and his wife Elisabeth, professor emeritus of cardiology Dr. Yang Wang, Abbott Northwestern Hospital cardiologist Dr. James Stevens, Prof. C. J. Liu, Ms. Terry Fick and Ms. Karon Armstrong of 3M Medical Department. The Special Medical Forum helped the audience better understand the theory, research and current practice of Alternative / Complementary Medicine and its promising integration into the mainstream patient care.

Activity: On Aug. 19, 2007 from 5:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. at Four Points by Sheraton Minneapolis - Minnesota Grand Ballroom, the Association of Minnesota Chinese Physicians (AMCP) held its 2nd Medical Forum. Keynote Speaker Dr. Hongsheng Guo spoke on Atrial Fibrillation: Is rhythm control (or a cure) possible?
