In response to the emergency call for tents by President Hu Jintao and premier Wen Jiabao, AMCP members during the Memorial day weekend worked very hard along with many other volunteers from the local Chinese Community to gear up the Sichuan earthquake relief effort. Our members donated $4400 for Buying Tent Project. 124 tents purchased is now on their way to the earthquake zone and to be used by Sichun people. We are the biggest donor organization for this project. We should be all very proud of ourselves.
